‘Peace, justice and equality for all our brothers and sisters in Palestine, Jew, Christian and Muslim’
Introduction
C4P is a Palestinian solidarity organization based in Ireland.
We have a number of strategic aims
- To educate the public on the true nature of the Palestinian conflict, the politics and theology.
- To form partnerships with Christian churches to encourage them to explicitly oppose the genocide and apartheid in Palestine.
- To encourage the public to participate in targeted actions that apply financial and political pressure such as Boycott, Divest and Sanctions (BDS).

Kairos Palestine 2 Article
Kairos Palestine, the combined voice of all the Christian Churches in Palestine, released a very important paper in December 2025 that articulates their plight under Israeli persecution. It implores their Western Christian brother and sisters to call out the Israeli oppression and use the correct phrases.
In light of all this, we must call things by their proper names: Israel is a colonial, settler, and exclusionary entity built upon the displacement of the indigenous population and its replacement with new settlers. For this reason, we reject the very concept of “conflict.” The reality on the ground is tyranny and an oppressive regime of settler colonialism and apartheid. Any denial of this reality is an evasion of manifest truth — one that reinforces and perpetuates the injustice.

This memorandum is submitted to inform diplomatic missions of the deteriorating humanitarian and legal situation in the town of Taybeh, Palestine, during November and December, a period of special religious significance due to preparations for Christmas. It seeks urgent diplomatic engagement in response to ongoing violations of international humanitarian law (IHL) and international human rights law (IHRL).

Over There. This Time of Year…
IFaith is ancient in places like Taybeh, the last wholly Christian town in the West Bank – only an hour’s drive away from Bethlehem. In John’s Gospel, it was known as Ephraim, a place where Jesus sought and found refuge. A faith traceable through their ancestral ‘living stones’ – there in Jerusalem on the first Pentecost. Become part of the very first church. And like them, the people of Taybeh possess a multiplicity of identities: Arab, Palestinian, Semitic. And Christian.
However, despite the odds, Father Bashar Fawadleh says, ‘We do as much as we can to give people hope. But that alone is not enough. People need employment – the ability to earn a living.’

BDS - Focus on Allianz
This article outlines the compelling case for the GAA and the Catholic church to sever all links with insurance giant Allianz because of its complicity in the Gaza genocide.

Irish Catholic Priests call on Church to sever links with Allianz
We ask that the response of the Irish Catholic Church should be immediate and far-reaching in cutting our links with Allianz.
Nothing less is acceptable as Irish Catholics will now be conscious of the Allianz connection – albeit by extension – and of our connection with the plight of the children we see on our television screens.
The ACP also encourages all Catholic religious Congregations and dioceses to exercise high levels of due diligence in carefully scrutinizing their investment portfolios to determine if any part of their investments is helping to sustain the appalling human rights abuse being inflicted on the Palestinian people.

24 August Day of Prayer for Gaza
On Sunday, parishes will be asked to unite, once more, in a Day of Prayer and Reflection for Gaza. For 24 hours on 24 August, all are invited to pray and reflect in a particular way for the suffering people of Gaza.
Archbishop Eamon Martin said, “The Catholic Bishops of Ireland dedicated the month of June to prayer for, and solidarity with, the suffering people of Gaza. Heartbreakingly, since then, the situation has deteriorated further. Innocent lives continue to be lost, many of them children and families while hunger, violence and devastation tighten their grip on a people caught in the crossfire.

C4P Lobby Presbyterian Church Assembly in Belfast
Members of C4P lobbied the Presbyterian Church in Ireland at their assembly in Belfast June 2025.
The 1300 attendees were issued with information leaflets each day outlining the plight of Palestinians in Gaza. The leaflets also illustrated the role of Presbyterians in the past challenging the slave trade and apartheid in South Africa. The suffering of Christians in Palestine was also brought to their attention.
The aim is to encourage PCI to explicitly support humanitarian relief for Palestine and solidarity with fellow Christians.
Irish Catholic Bishops Statement on Gaza
The Irish Catholic Bishops issued a statement on 12 June 2025 which condemn 'Genocidal actions sanctioned by the Government of Israel.
All parishes are asked to give expression to their solidarity with the suffering people of Gaza during June.'
Bishops stated the following concerning the humanitarian disaster in Gaza: “In Gaza people are starving and adequate aid is being denied; it seems clear that famine is being used as a weapon of war. Already over 600,000 Palestinians have been displaced. The evidence points to a staged strategy of ethnic cleansing aimed at removing the Palestinian people from their homes and their homeland. It is becoming increasingly clear to people on the ground that these are genocidal actions sanctioned by the Government of Israel.
“What is happening in Gaza – and the West Bank – is the death of tens of thousands of non-combatants, many of them women and children. This is unconscionable and disproportionate. It is immoral for world leaders to stand by inactively in the face of this outrageous tragedy for humanity.
“Words are not enough! There is an urgent need for the international community to intervene, cut off arms supplies and bring the carnage to an end. This will call for courage on the part of leaders. Examples of courage are being given every day by heroic doctors, nurses and aid workers risking their lives in service of the wounded and those who have been displaced.”
